sabhyās tu vibudhair jñeyā ye didṛkṣānivtā janāḥ | 152
te' pi dvidhā prārthanīyāḥ prārthak iti ca sphuṭam ||
Now, the members of the audience:
The members of the audience are to be understood by the wise as those people endowed with a desire to see [the performance].
They also are clearly of two kinds: those who are to be requested, and those who request.
