kula-śoka-haraṃ kumāram ekaṃ
kuhanā-bhairava-pāraṇonmukhābhyām |
upahūya kṛtādaraṃ pitṛbhyām
upari prastutam oṃ namaḥ śivāya ||
Calling a single prince who removes the sorrow of his family,
by the two parents eager to break the fast of the deceptive Bhairava,
and having honored him—
thereafter it was begun: “Om, homage to Śiva!”
3.373.p1
atra vākye sākāṅkṣe viśeṣāṃśam anuktvā namaḥ śivāyeti samāpti-kathanād vāk-keliḥ |
Here, while the sentence is still expectant, without stating the specific part, because completion is stated with “homage to Śiva,” it is verbal sport (vākkeli).
