eka-vāsara-vṛttāntaḥ prāpta-viṣkambha-cūlikaḥ |
astrī-nimitta-samaro vyāyogaḥ kathito budhaiḥ | 237
vijñeyam asya lakṣyaṃ tu dhanañjaya-jayādikam ||

involving the events of a single day, possessing a viṣkambha and a cūlikā, / with battle not caused by a woman—this is declared by the wise to be the vyāyoga. / Its illustrative example should be known as the Dhanañjayajaya and the like.
