Beginning with: ‘(Then enters Śunaḥśepa, a disciple of Viśvāmitra) Śunaḥśepa: I wish to see the sacrificer at the very morning libation...’ and ending with: ‘...having gone from the Siddhāśrama to Ayodhyā to bring Rāma, who is an antidote against the demons, father Viśvāmitra has sent me as his representative to Sīradhvaja, the Vedic-learned Kṣatriya and his supreme friend, who had been invited to the sacrifice’ [before verse 1.23], there is suggestion (upakṣepa) because of the intimation of the germ, which consists of Viśvāmitra's undertaking that enhances Rāma's energy, characterized by the chastisement of wicked demons such as Rāvaṇa.
