atha īhāmṛgaḥ-
yatretivṛttaṃ miśraṃ syāt sa-viṣkambha-praveśakam |
catvāro' ṅkā nirvimarśa-garbhāḥ syuḥ sandhayas trayaḥ ||

Now, the īhāmṛga: / Where the plot is mixed, accompanied by viṣkambha and praveśaka; / there are four acts devoid of reflection (vimarśa) and development (garbha), and three junctures;
