atha pratimukha-sandhiḥ-
bīja-prakāśanaṃ yatra dṛśyādṛśyatayā bhavet | 39
tat syāt pratimukhaṃ bindoḥ prayatnasyānurodhataḥ ||
Now, the progression juncture (pratimukha-sandhi): / Where the germ is manifested / in a visible and invisible manner [39] / in accordance with the drop and the effort, / that is the progression juncture.
