yasya vajra-maṇer bhede bhidyante loha-sūcayaḥ |
karotu tatra kiṃ nāma nārī-nakha-viḍambanam ||
When iron needles shatter / in breaking this diamond gem, / what, indeed, could the imitation / of a woman's fingernail achieve there?"
3.71.p2

(Reflecting) "Be that as it may. Still, I shall proclaim him, for the origin of an eminent warrior has an unmeasured power," beginning thus—
3.71.p3
hemaprabhā-saṃpaṇṇaṃ ca pia-sahīe pāṇi-ggahaṇam (3.79 padyād anantaram] (sampannaṃ ca priya-sakhyā pāṇi-grahaṇam) ity antena pūrvaṃ tāṭakādi-vadha-dṛṣṭasya paścān nikhila-kṣatriya-durāropa-dhūrjaṭi-cāpāropaṇa-prabhāva-varṇanād naṣṭasya rāmabhadrotsāhasya tad-dhanur-bhaṅga-kriyā-rūpeṇa smaraṇāt parisarpaḥ |
down to: "Hemaprabhā: 'And the taking of the hand of my dear friend has taken place'" [after verse 3.79], this is [the dramatic element called] pursuit (parisarpa), because the energy of Rāmabhadra—which was previously observed in the slaying of Tāṭakā and others, and subsequently disappeared due to the description of the bow of Dhūrjaṭi being impossible for all kṣatriyas to string—is recollected through the act of breaking that bow.
