Rāma (with dejection):
"That secret of archery, for which the moon-crested god acted as preceptor, / where Guha was his fellow student for a long time, and which made the earth sing the vow of heroes, / that bow-secret of yours, O revered one, this Rāma shall see today; / but we, the kṣatriya race, are not incompetent with a bow whose jṛmbhaka missile opens with ease!"

3.81.p2

jāmadagnyaḥ : sādhu re kṣatriya-ḍimbha, sādhu | ity antena bhārgava-rāghavayor ukti-pratyukti-kathanāt pragamanam |

down to where Jāmadagnya says: "Well done, O kṣatriya boy, well done!" Because this recounts statement and counter-statement between Bhārgava and Rāghava, it is progression.
