yayā tatraiva [bāla-rāmāyaṇe] unmatta-daśānana-nāmani pañcamāṅke mālyavān (hasitvā)-vṛddha-buddhir hi prathamaṃ paśyati caramaṃ kāryam | yan mayā dhūrjaṭi-dhanur-adhikṣepataḥ prabhṛti mati-cakṣuṣā dṛṣṭam eva yad uta daśakandharo' nusandhāsyati sītā-haraṇam |

As in the very same work, in the fifth act titled "Unmatta-Daśānana", Mālyavān says (laughing): "An old man's intellect indeed foresees the final outcome at the very beginning. For it was seen by me with the eye of intellect from the time of the insult to Dhūrjaṭi's bow that the Ten-necked one would set his mind on the abduction of Sītā."
