athavā janma mekāṃśaṃ tatsamaṃ cābjakaṃ tathā
tadūrdhve kampamekāṃśaṃ śeṣaṃ prāguktavannayet
Or else the plinth-course is of one part, and equal to it is the lotus; / above that, a fillet of one part; one should carry out the remainder as stated previously.
