ekadravyaṃ tu śuddhaṃ syād dvidravyaṃ miśrakaṃ bhavet
tridravyaistu saṃkīrṇaṃ tajjñātvā kārayetbudhaḥ
A single material is pure; two materials are mixed; / with three materials it is composite: knowing this, the wise [architect] should construct it.
