uttaraiḥ prāguktāṅghriḥ syāttadvaśātparito nyaset
tadevāntamalakṣaṃ ca karṇayoścottaraṃ vinā
With the beams, the pillars should be as previously described; conforming to them, one should place [the members] all around. / That very ending is Malakṣa, without a beam at the two corners.
