vibhajetpañcaṣaṣṭāṣṭaharmyapādodayaṃ tathā
tattadekāṃśahīnaṃ syācchuddhadvārodayaṃ bhavet
One should divide the height of the pillar of the edifice into five, six, or eight [parts]; / diminished by one part of each, that shall be the clear height of the door.
