taddvayaṃ pādatuṅge syāttardhaṃ prastarodayam
mūlapādodaye'ṣṭāṃśamadhikaṃ cordhvāṅghrituṅgakam

two [parts] should be for the pillar height; half of that is the rise of the entablature. / Greater by one-eighth of the height of the main pillar is the height of the upper pillar;
