vedāṃśaṃ śikharottuṅge śeṣāṃśaṃ śikharodayaṃ kathitam
ūrdhve cordhvatale sarve karṇaharmyādimaṇḍitam
Four parts is the height of the spire roof; the remaining part is declared the height of the apex finial. / On each and every storey above, [the exterior] is adorned with corner edifices and the like.
