35.24

uktānāṃ sarvajātīnāṃ daṇḍakaṃ tu caturdiśi
pūrve vā dakṣiṇe vāpi paścime daṇḍakaṃ nyaset

For all the aforesaid castes, Daṇḍaka is in the four directions: / one should place the Daṇḍaka in the east, the south, or the west.
