daṇḍakādikramāt śālāvinyāsaṃ vakṣyate'dhunā
pūrve ca paścime śālā pratyak prāgālayaṃ tu vā

Now the layout of the halls in order, beginning with the daṇḍaka, will be described: / there is a hall on the east and on the west, or the dwelling faces west or east.
