49.22

mūlatārārdhabhāgaṃ vā tribhāgaikāṃśameva ca
evaṃ karaṇḍamaulyāgre vistāraṃ parikīrtitam

Or it may be half of the bottom width, or one-third part. / Thus is declared the width at the top of the basket-shaped crown (karaṇḍamauli).
