apare viṃśatidine tattadṛkṣaṃ bhavedyadi
uktāṅgulaṃ tatra nāsti sūtraṃ jñātvā prasārayet

or if on the other twenty days it is in those respective constellations, / the stated digits are not [used] there; knowing this, he should stretch out the cord;
