uttamādi tridhā proktaṃ haṃsodayamiti smṛtam
dvitālottamamānena bhāgaṃ haṃsodayaṃ bhavet
It is taught to be threefold, high (uttama) and so forth; this is known as the height of the swan.
By the superior two-tāla measure (dvitālottama), the height of the swan should be divided.
