tanmadhye suṣiraṃ kṛtvā bandhayecchilpivittamaḥ
phalake yojayetsarvaṃ sūtramevaṃ praśasyate
having made a hole in its center, the best of artisan-architects should fasten it. / He should affix everything to the board; thus the plumb line is praised.
