vāstuśuddhiṃ tataḥ kṛtvā devatārthaṃ padaṃ nyaset
maṇḍūkapadamevā'pi paramaśādhikameva vā
Having then performed the purification of the site, one should lay out the grid for the deities: / either the maṇḍūkapada indeed, or the paramaśāyika.
