padmaṃ kaṃmaṇḍaluṃ cākṣasūtradarbhāśca tāmrajāḥ
brahmāsanapade madhye'mburuhaṃ sthāpyamevaca

a lotus, a water pot, a rosary, and darbha-grass made of copper; / in the central plot of Brahmā's seat, a lotus should indeed be placed;
