vāme ca kukkuṭaṃ dadyād dakṣiṇe ca mūyarakam
akṣasūtraṃ puraḥ sthāpyaṃ garbhaṃṣaṇmukhasadmani
and on the left, he should place the rooster, and on the right, the peacock; / the rosary should be placed in front: [such is] the foundation deposit in the shrine of the Six-Faced One (Skanda).
