adhiṣṭhānottarāntastho jhaṣālastambha ucyate
tadvayāsādarkabhāgādyaṃ ṣaḍbhāgonāgravistaraḥ
A pillar standing from the base up to the beam is called a jhaṣāla pillar; / its width begins from a twelfth part [of the height], and its top width is reduced by a sixth part.
