yogavyāsaṃ pādaviṣkambhamānaṃ pādādhikyaṃ vā tadardhaṃtripādam
bāhulyaṃ syāducchraye vedabhāge bāhye sābjakṣepaṇaṃ tattribhāgaiḥ

The width of the doorframe is equal to the pillar's breadth, or greater by a quarter, a half, or three-quarters. / The thickness should be four parts of the height, and on the outside, its lotus projection should measure three of those parts.
