kṛtvā catuṣpadaṃ mūlaprāsādasya tuvistṛtam
ādyaṃ sālaṃ mahāpīṭhaṃpadaiḥ ṣoḍaśabhiryutam

Having made [a layout] of four squares for the main temple's width, / the first enclosure wall is the *mahāpīṭha* with sixteen squares;
