evaṃ yugmapadairyuktamayugmairatha vakṣyate
ekamādyaṃ vimānaṃ syādādyaṃ sālaṃ tupīṭhakam

Thus [the set] endowed with even squares; now those with uneven [squares] will be described: / the first vimāna may be of one [square], the first enclosure wall of the *pīṭha* [layout];
