sāṅghryekaṃ bījamevoditamatha tithike ṣoḍaśāṃkahīnaṃ
saptādhikye daśāṃśe navadaśapadake'ṣṭāṃśahīnaṃ krameṇa

one and a quarter is stated as the seed; then in the fifteen, diminished by one-sixteenth;
in the seventeen, one-tenth; in the nineteen padakas, diminished by an eighth in regular order.
