etat sarvaṃdaṇḍakaṃ jātirūpaṃ devānāṃ bhūtaitalānāṃ nṛpāṇām
pāṣaṇḍādīnāṃ viśāṃ śūdrakāṇāṃ yodhānāṃ rūpāṅganānāṃ praśastam
All this is the daṇḍaka, belonging to the pure caste class; it is commendable for gods, warrior kings, / ascetics and the like, vaiśyas, śūdras, soldiers, and beautiful women.
