dvijanṛpavaṇijāṃ vā sadmanāṃ śūdrakāṇāmabhimukhaviniveśadvāratāraṃ ca tuṅgam
pṛthagatha nijabhedaṃ maṇḍanaṃ cāpi nāmnā
sukhamanugatabuddhirvastuvākyaṃ munīnām
For the dwellings of twice-born, kings, merchants, or Śūdras, the width and height of the front-facing doorway, / and separately their own classification and decoration by name, / [are stated] pleasantly for the receptive mind according to the architectural precepts of the sages.
