vimānaniṣkramaṃ mūlāṣṭamūlābdhihīnaṃ tuyuktivaśāt
uttarato vā purataḥ paritaḥ sālaṃ tu vardhayed vidhinā
The projection of the vimāna should be diminished by one-eighth or one-fourth from the base according to propriety; / or to the north, or in front, or all around, one should expand the enclosure wall according to rule.
