tanvādibhāveṣu śubhodayeṣu tadbhāvanāthopagatekṣiteṣu |
taduktabhābasya samṛddhiruktā napāpakheṭekṣitasaṃyuteṣu ||

When the astrological houses beginning with the first house have benefic ascendants, and are occupied or aspected by the lord of that house,
the prosperity of that declared house is spoken of; it is not so when they are aspected or conjoined by malefic planets.
