atha rāśau grahaphalaparipākakālaḥ |
ādyantamadhyabhavanopagatā nabhogāścādityabhūmitanayau śaniśītaraśmī |
jīvāsurendrasacivau phaladāḥkrameṇa tārāsutaḥ sakalakālaphalapradaḥ syāt ||

Now the time of ripening of planetary results in a sign: / The Sun and Mars bear fruit in the initial portion of a sign, Saturn and the Moon at the end, / and Jupiter and Venus in the middle, in succession; Mercury gives fruit throughout the entire duration.
