ravīnduśukrāvanijaiḥ svabhāvagaiḥ gurau trikoṇodayasaṃsthite'pi| vā |
bhavatyapatyaṃ hi vibījināgine karā himāṃśorvidṛśāmivāphalāḥ ||

Even when the Sun, the Moon, Venus, and Mars are in their own houses, or Jupiter is situated in a trine or the ascendant,
if the man is devoid of seed, no offspring is born; indeed, like the rays of the Moon to the blind, they are fruitless.
