13.46

atha piturasannidhau janmayogāḥ |
piturjātaḥ parokṣasya lagnamindāvapaśyati |
videśasthasya carabhe madhyāddaṣṭe divākare ||

Now, combinations for birth in the father's absence: / One is born away from his father's sight when the Moon does not aspect the ascendant; / [or born while his father is] in a foreign land when a moveable sign is on the meridian and the Sun is aspected from it.
