mandarkṣāśe śaśini hibuke mandadṛṣṭe'bjage vā tadyukte vā tamasi śayanaṃ nīcasaṃsthaiśca bhūmau |
yadbhadrāśirbrajati harijaṃ garbhamokṣastu tadvat ||
When the Moon is in a sign or navāṃśa of Saturn, or in the fourth house aspected by Saturn, or in a watery sign joined with him, the lying-in is in darkness; and when planets are debilitated, [it is] on the ground. / As the auspicious sign approaches the horizon, just so does the delivery of the fetus occur.
