āśleṣādye na gaṇḍaṃ syāddhanagaṇḍaṃ dvitīyake |
tṛtīye mātṛgaṇḍam tu pitṛgaṇḍaṃ caturthake ||
In the first [quarter] of Āśleṣā, there is no gaṇḍa; in the second, gaṇḍa regarding wealth; / in the third, gaṇḍa regarding the mother; and in the fourth, gaṇḍa regarding the father.
