pāde tṛtīye citrāyāḥ pūrvārddhe yamabhasya ca |
tṛtīyāṃśe'rkatārāyaścaturthāśe'ntyabhasya ca |
jātastu pitaraṃ hanti jātā cenmātarantathā ||
in the third quarter of Citrā; in the first half of Bharaṇī; / in the third portion of Kṛttikā; and in the fourth portion of Revatī: / a male child born slays the father, and if a female child is born, she slays the mother.
