atha bhrātṛvicāra |
bhrātṛsthānaṃ tṛtīyaṃ ca navaikadaśasaptamam |
tattadīśādaśāyāṃ ca bhratṛlābho bhavennṛṇām ||

Now, the consideration of brothers: / The houses of brothers are the third, ninth, eleventh, and seventh; / and in the planetary period of their respective lords, men acquire brothers.
