11.12

api khala kula jātā mānavā rājya bhājaḥ kim uta nṛpa kula utthāḥ prokta bhū pāla yogaiḥ/
nṛ pati kula samutthāḥ pārthivā vakṣyamāṇair bhavati nṛ pati tulyas teṣv abhū pāla putraḥ//(mālinī)

Even men born in base families partake of kingship—how much more those sprung from royal lineages!—through the declared royal combinations.
Those sprung from a royal lineage become sovereigns through those to be declared [hereafter]; among them, one not a king's son becomes equal to a king.
