nava dig vasavas trika agni vedair guṇitā dvi tri catur vikalpajāḥ syuḥ/
yavanais tri guṇā hi ṣaṭ śatī sā kathitā vistarato agra tat samāḥ syuḥ//(aupacchandasika)

Nine, ten, and eight multiplied by three, three, and four give the combinations arising from two, three, and four [planets];
three times that six hundred is detailed by the Yavanas, and those that follow are equal to them.
