śakaṭa aṇḍaja vac chubha aśubair vajraṃ tad viparītagair yavaḥ//
kamalaṃ tu vimiśra saṃsthitair vā api tad yadi kendra bāhyataḥ//(vaitālīyā)
Like Śakaṭa and Aṇḍaja, with benefics and malefics [respectively], is Vajra; with the reverse, Yava;
Kamala, however, is formed by them placed mixed [in all cardinal houses], or Vāpī if they are outside the cardinal houses.
