8.19
daśāsu śastāsu śubhāni kurvanty aniṣṭa saṃjñā sva śubhāni ca evam/
miśrāsu niśrāṇi daśā phalāni horā phalaṃ lagna pateḥ sa mānam//(upajātikā)
In auspicious planetary periods, planets bring about auspicious things; and those with inauspicious designations bring about their own inauspicious results.
In mixed periods, the results of the periods are mixed; the result of the horā is equal to that of the lord of the ascendant.
