nīca ari bha aṃśe samavasthitasya śaste gṛhe gṛhe miśra phalā pradiṣṭā/
saṃjñā anurūpāṇi phalāny atha eṣāṃ daśāsu vakṣyāmi yathā upayogam//(upajātikā)

For [a planet] positioned in debilitation or an enemy's sign or portion, but residing in an auspicious house, mixed results are declared.
I shall now state, in accordance with the circumstances, the results in their planetary periods conforming to their designations.
