23.24

karka rāśistha candramā para brahīṃ kī dṛṣṭi ke phala
narapatipuruṣamadhanyaṃ dhanarahitaṃ kle śakārakaṃ vā'pi |
kurute svagṛhe candro ravidṛṣṭho durgapālaṃ ca ||

[Fruit of the aspects of planets on the Moon in the sign Cancer:] / Aspected by the Sun in its own house, the Moon makes [a man] an officer of the king, unfortunate, devoid of wealth, or causing distress, / and a protector of a fort.
