syātāṃ yadyādhāne raviśaśinau siṃharāśigau lagne |
dṛṣṭau kujasauribhyāṃ jātyandhaḥ saṃbhavati tatra ||
Knowledge of the combination for blindness:
If at conception the Sun and the Moon are in the sign Leo in the lagna,
and are aspected by Mars and Saturn, a child born blind is produced in that case.
