1.63-2

chāyā lakṣaṇamāhachāyā śubhāśubhaphalāni nivedayantī
lakṣyā manuṣyapaśupakṣiṣu lakṣaṇajñaiḥ
tejoguṇānbahirapi pravikāśayantī
dīpaprabhā sphaṭikaratnaghaṭasthitaiva

He states the characteristics of the radiance:
The radiance, announcing auspicious and inauspicious fruits,
is to be observed in men, beasts, and birds by knowers of bodily marks,
illuminating the qualities of energy even outward,
just like the light of a lamp situated within a crystal jar.
