gātrarūkṣatālakṣaṇamāha -
yadyadgātraṃ rūkṣaṃ māṃsavihīnaṃ śirāpanaddhaṃ ca
tattadaniṣṭaṃ proktaṃ viparītamattaḥ śubhaṃ sarvam
He states the characteristics of roughness of the limbs:
Whatever limb is rough, devoid of flesh, and bound with veins,
that is declared inauspicious; all that is opposite to this is auspicious.
