'[Now],' etc. Now next I shall explain the svarodaya moving in the body through the winds. If one asks how: 'in the form of the movement of the breath'; by which haṃsa-form they know the knowledge of svarodaya born of the three times. 'Kuṇḍalinī,' etc.: among powers, the great power named Kuṇḍalinī, coiled in shape, having the form of a serpent, serpentine in its length, situated in the navel of embodied beings, exists as the root of the subtle channels situated in the body. Then, from that Kuṇḍalī, ten subtle channels go upward and ten go downward. 'Two and two,' etc.: two subtle channels go transversely in each direction. Thus here twenty-four subtle channels become the root passages of the great power Kuṇḍalinī. 'From them,' etc.: from those twenty-four, seven hundred and seven subtle channels with fine mouths nourish the body exceedingly. 'Primary,' etc.: among them, ten subtle channels are primary; they indeed carry the winds numbering ten. I declare the names of those ten subtle channels and the winds numbering ten.
